Something For The Weekend

It’s nice to listen to music to get us ready for a run or to keep us going during a run so I thought it would be good to share some tunes that we can add to our playlist, maybe songs by artists we wouldn’t normally listen to or simply tunes we’d forgotten about. The main purpose being hopefully we can inspire each other with our music selections and why we’ve chosen them.

Last week’s Prodigy selection was hopefully a reminder of a great tune and not that we’re all getting old! It was only a few years ago that Firestarter was number one and clearly not 21 years!

This week’s selection was released ‘just’ 11 years ago and is making a reappearance on my playlist while looking for another track and remembering how good it was. I used to play it quite a lot when I used to teach spinning classes and is great if you’re looking for something to get you through a short run or need a boost late into a longer run.

This week’s choice is Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance.
